I'm just planning on using the V2 to sketch in p5.fab, and have no other great expectations of it. Gonna try printing sawdust and chitosan gel with a CNC and think that p5.fab will really help with that material, so warming up my skills on the V2 first is the plan : ) 2/2

@Escher3D Hey David, this tweet of yours is from quite some time ago, but I was wondering if you know whether the Duet 3 6HC can run Grbl? (github.com/grbl/grbl) Thought maybe you'd tried that in all you testing!

My Duet 3 development rig now has five hot ends! I'm currently testing Duet 3 6HC main board with three 3HC expansion boards, one tool board, 16 stepper motors (Nema 17, Nema 23 and Nema 34), 2 hot ends inc. fans, one 4-wire fan with tacho reading, PanelDue, and Ethernet.

@loriemerson @HZeavin @jameshodges_ Yeah I feel like I don't fully understand it yet, but it perhaps is what a raspberry pie becomes before turning to the dark side and becoming an iPhone—permanent suspension in feeding the urge to hack.

@loriemerson I shall stop spamming this thread, promise :,) But Evelyn Fox Keller on “Taming the Cybernetic Metaphor” in her Making Sense of Life book also gets into cybernetics as a science of formal variation in the biological imagination, like the convergence book.

@loriemerson To your main question though, I think cybernetics is meant to ask humans to looks for formal structures that transcend their observer biases. Bateson “Form, Substance, and Difference” is one way into that idea.
