गुजरात के निकाय चुनावों में आम आदमी पार्टी के सभी जीते हुए उम्मीदवारों को बहुत-बहुत बधाई। गुजरात में हमारे सैकड़ों कार्यकर्ताओं पर FIR हुई, उन्हें जेल में डाला गया लेकिन फिर भी उन्होंने डटकर चुनाव लड़ा। आम आदमी पार्टी ने पिछली बार की तुलना में लगभग 10 गुना सीटें ज़्यादा जीती हैं। जिस तेज़ी के साथ गुजरात में आम आदमी पार्टी आगे बढ़ रही है, एक बात तो साफ है कि गुजरात से कमल को उखाड़ने के लिए जनता अब 'झाड़ू' पर भरोसा कर रही है।

BJP Minister Nitish Rane Convicted and Sentenced to One Month in Jail. But he won't be going to jail. He'll now Appeal in High Court, it'll take 6-7 years and then he'll Appeal in Supreme Court, victim will be forced to take back the case or he'll suddenly disappear before that.

गुजरात की जनता का आभार पिछले एक महीने में 170 से अधिक FIR दर्ज होने और हमारे कार्यकर्ताओं को गिरफ्तार कर जेल में डाले जाने के बावजूद भी जनता ने हमें भरपूर समर्थन दिया। आम आदमी पार्टी ने अपनी सीटों में लगभग 10 गुना से अधिक वृद्धि की है। पिछली बार हमने 69 सीटें जीती थीं, और अभी के अनुसार लगभग 650 सीटें हम जीत रहे हैं। नर्मदा जिला पंचायत में आम आदमी पार्टी को बहुमत प्राप्त हुआ। गुजरात के 34 जिलों में से हमने 1 जिला पंचायत जीती, जबकि कांग्रेस को एक भी नहीं मिली। हमने 10 से अधिक तालुका पंचायतों में जीत हासिल की है। डेडियापाड़ा विधानसभा की सभी 11 जिला पंचायत सीटों पर आम आदमी पार्टी ने जीत दर्ज की, जबकि बीजेपी शून्य पर रही। हम गुजरात की जनता का दिल से आभार व्यक्त करते हैं और इसी विश्वास व समर्थन के साथ आगे भी एक मजबूत विपक्ष के रूप में अपनी जिम्मेदारी निभाते रहेंगे।

Regardless of party affiliation, Mamata didi deserves a standing ovation for being a FIGHTER. She has fought for every single vote until the very end of the election day. She has fought to preserve her people’s right to vote and remain on the electoral rolls. She has fought the Supreme Court judges that enabled a cruel, mass disenfranchisement process. She fought off political attacks from Delhi, including being addressed as “Ei Mamata” after the earlier “O didi” catcalling. And THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS, never ONCE did she give a pass to her personal dignity and the dignity of the constitutional office she holds.
