@deesnider just watched the top of the pops performance of I am (I’m me) from 83. Do you remember anything special about that performance? It’s a great song BTW!

@deesnider That sounds so stupid, Dee. Go have a nice dinner with two or three glasses of wine as an adult. Ffs

@JohnHolder64994 @deesnider I mean that in the best way, DEE. The early to mid 1980's were something unique & you had the balls to COSPLAY.

@deesnider But Dee, people can’t afford the real acts. Tickets going for hundreds of dollars. My parent’s generation could get the front row of huge bands just by paying 30 bucks and showing up early.

Hey @deesnider. I’ve always wondered what artists thought of tribute bands. I heard/read the tribute bands don’t necessarily pay a license for playing each time, but rather the venues have blanket license coverage. Is this right and what are your thoughts about them? Thanks! 🤘🏻

@deesnider Depend on the singer. If the singer was known for his voice then shut it down. If a showman like DLR and it was never about his voice, I’ve got no issues.

Recently, many of us have seen videos floating around online of David Lee Roth having vocal issues. So I’m curious, would you rather see a show with original members struggling to deliver the songs or a band like Foreigner that has brought in replacements but delivers a fantastic show where the songs sound great? (Ps. I took this pic in Feb. 2020)

Has no one in Hollywood ever explored a movie about the Voyager spacecraft, where an alien civilization discovers the Golden Record, deciphers its messages, and follows it back to Earth to make contact with humanity? That would be absolutely incredible to watch.

You won’t find a bigger Star Trek fan than I am and even I think there are only about 20 good TOS episodes. But when they’re good, they’re fucking great.

i think in general the tos movies do a lot more for me than the tos show did

@JVMonte2 And still one of the greatest albums of all time! Thoughts, @deesnider ?

Rate this 1-10. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
