Random API

randomuser.me has been under a DDoS attack for the last couple of days. We will be upgrading our infrastructure in the coming weeks to better handle attacks and accommodate the increased load we've been seeing from legitimate users.

@__MsG__ No, it looks like that is an unintentional bug. We'll look into it, thanks for reporting the issue.

@randomapi Is it on purpose that some users don't have a country field? Looks consistently like the people from Norway don't have the country in the json feed.

@kev_soft The only formatting changes are an added "country" property under location and splitting up the street name and number. Also, proper names are capitalized now. Remember that you can explicitly provide a version number randomuser.me/api/1.2 to prevent future breaking changes.

It's been a while, but the Random User Generator API 1.2 update is ready! Randomuser.me will be down around 10 pm Central Time and should be back up within the hour if everything goes according to plan.

@SivajiGK_0505 The current API doesn't return an age, however our next update will include an age value for both dob and registered date.

@randomapi I am trying to use RANDOM USER GENERATOR API. Your API is not returning age object in the results can you guys help me with this??

@kirikorneev Delete line 12 of app.js and change line 5 of routes/api.js to "var Request={findOrCreate(d,e,f){f(0,0,1)}};" and you should be good to go.

@bloo_df We've just released a hotfix (v0.0.8) for the Node 8 bug.

@bloo_df It looks like Offline RandomAPI is currently broken with Node 8. If possible, please use version 7 while an update is made. Thanks!

@raymondcamden You can specify a seed to get back the same user, but there is currently not a way to request a specific user.
