@randomjrpsv @FeedMe_Katsudon Bro literally can't read.. I'm literally saying. Large numbers of people I spoke to literally said they could only speak English. No code switching. Just English. Monolingual.

@MminaMac If I remember correctly, "Panginoon" was derived from this word.

Maybe we should bring back Ginoo as a gender-neutral term. If anybody asks, that isn't a form of using male terms as the default. It had always been a term used for both noble lords and ladies. I mean, we still use it today. "Aba, Ginoong Maria" (Hail Mary)

@MminaMac even came up with “mamser” cuz they couldn’t figure out a gender-neutral version for “ma’am” and “sir”

@FeedMe_Katsudon You can't totally stop using your own language, and happily accept you're now westernised and not expect western people to see it and have thoughts lol. I've never seen a country willingly give up its own language and culture so easily 🤣

@mai_chiiiiii You do know that in Spanish the default word is the masculine form of the word. Filipino and Filipina are Spanish words, why isn’t the default Filipina instead of Filipino.

like please call me filipino. that’s what i am. i am female yes yes, we do have “filipina” for a more feminine term but it’s because of the spanish influence leading to the use of -o / -a for masculinity/femininity

my bold stance is that fe games are not story focused and story isnt even among the 5 most important aspects of a fire emblem game. even the entries people claim have good stories are driven more by excellent colorful character writing which is the real appeal of fe's writing.
