Three things that are true: 1) The Iran war is unpopular with the majority of Americans, including independents who voted for Trump 2) Trump's core voters, in contrast to the rest of the public, are fine with it. 3) The GOP needs more than MAGA Republicans to win elections.

@ed_haywood This is a false equivalence. Harris was a reasonable alternative; not someone I'd agree with on policy most of the time, but not a menace, not a friend to seditionists, not a sociopath who tried to execute a coup. Any normal politician was a better choice than Trump.
