The bill would remove the long-standing religious exemption from Canada’s hate speech laws. Critics are warning that this could mean certain Bible passages, religious teachings, or even quoting scripture might now be treated as hate speech under the new rules.
Supporters say stronger hate speech laws are needed to protect people from harm and discrimination. But a growing number of Canadians are asking: where exactly is the line between stopping real hate and shutting down freedom of religion and free expression?

National security nightmare.
- Canada is now the source of 80pc of the known watchlist terrorists interdicted in the USA the past three years now.
- More than 1000 known terrorists were captured on American soil from Canada residency/citizenship/origin the past three years.
We are playing with fire. This is a security nightmare for Canadians and a recklessly unreliable ally for Americans.
