@raphael_zeon @Sportskeeda Who is talking about opener. Rohit can fit at no 4/5 as well. He has played many match winning knocks in that position. So he can be the captain playing at no 4/5. He might not be a great IPL opener but he will always be one of the best Indian openers in white ball cricket

The best thing to CSK will be for MS to be in that team discussions tbh. Lets be honest, MS’s team selection was always sus, but he always delivered, his clarity and model is something we ll always need.

@abdullahkunda @Sportskeeda I don't need to watch any match as I already know his record. Rohit doesn't even feature in the top 10 IPL batsmen. There are far better openers than him in the IPL. Wouldn't want to waste an opener slot just because he is a very good captain.

@raphael_zeon @Sportskeeda Just go and see those matches. Rohit has won soo matches for MI. He has most man of the match awards in the IPL as an indian. I agree even we as fans are disappointed when he fails consistently, but still he has some unique records in the IPL like 2nd most sixes

@raphael_zeon @Sportskeeda And how can u ask how many matches Rohit won as a batsman? U haven't done any reaserch. He scored 50(25) vs CSK in 2015 final, winning man of the match. Even in 2020 final he scored 68. So I think Rohit has won more matches than Dhoni.

@raphael_zeon @Sportskeeda But there was a time when both used to make an impact. Rohit before 2017 was a beast. Haven't seen dhoni play like he used to before 2019. But as a captain u can't ignore them

@raphael_zeon @academy_dinda Ahmedabad hosted the final and Chennai also hosted multiple WC matches, then why are they hosting BGT Tests? Policy should be uniform with no double standards. Then all 5 venues should be the ones which didn't host any WC games.
