@KatieKeithBarn2 @Cloudflare Definitely check @FlyingPress_ and FlyingCDN. They basically offer Cloudflare Enterprise tuned for WordPress for a fraction of the cost.

Last week 95% of our traffic was bots. They were hammering the site, going over our PHP worker limit, and causing downtime.
On Friday we set up @Cloudflare's free plan. Now bot traffic is down to 0.3% ☺️
If you're using Cloudflare on busy ecommerce sites, is it worth upgrading to paid?

@jeffr0 The strongest selling point for WordPress is still intact even in the "AI Era": a common interface we can, hopefully, agree to build on.

@RinodeBoer Yes. They don't add any block, just add functionality to the default ones.
English

@raphaelsuzuki You mean this plugin adds functionality inside of the default GB blocks?

@CristianRaiber @WooCommerce @eddwp @jamesckemp This one does exactly that: wordpress.org/plugins/woocom…

Who's building a multi-currency add-on for @WooCommerce?
@eddwp has theirs and it's good & useful.
@WooCommerce when?

@cipriangb @37signals They don't disclose financial details, but they seem to be doing fine.

@raphaelsuzuki @37signals Sounds interesting. Did their income increase after this?

I am selling #WordPress plugins, subscription based.
What if, and this is something I came up with after seeing my sales plummeting, what if I removed all subscriptions and went with a one-time payment only?
I have around 60% of the customers cancelling after the first 1-2 years.
So I'm thinking of increasing the yearly price (say €30) by 50% (so €45) and removing all subsequent payments.
Why?
1. It feels fairer to users:
Buy it, own it. Simple psychology.
2. Lower friction, faster conversions:
No “Do I want this forever?” hesitation. Great for impulse or utilitarian tools.
3. Appeals to indie/hacker/bootstrapped markets:
They appreciate tools, not commitments.
4. Easier to maintain privacy:
No account = no tracking = happier privacy-conscious users.
4 is optional, either guest purchase or account-based purchase, I don't care.

@ezsmith397 How do you handle the licensing for all these plugins? Do you pass the costs on to your clients or are they already included as part of your services?

@perishable Been using Koofr for a while, option for encryption and great support for Rclone.

@heyamberhinds VersionPress got really close to doing it, but it was abandoned a while ago: github.com/versionpress/v…

@ianmisner @ajaydsouza Didn't knew about that! They just released and it looks very promising.
