Tested the new Shortest e2e testing tool from @shl, it really feels magic, this might solve QA once and for all. (even scraping) Shortest is a testing tool that lets you write end-to-end frontend tests in natural language, check the video for the following test on a test @nextjs app: shortest("Open the home page and signin via email").expect("A message to check your email"); So far from my tests I noticed: - Super easy to install, just add the package and the config. Probably a CLI installer would simplify it even more by creating an example config and adding the .gitignore folder for eg. - Very easy to write tests, is natural language after all - Tests are obviously quite slow, it uses Claude computer behind the scenes, and moves the mouse while testing your application. - Would be great in the future if it could create Playwright tests during the first run, and then run those during CI, it could re-run the AI only on failure for eg. to keep the tests updated on any changes - Not sure why but the browser window is opened with a super big width/height
