In my opinion, Arsenal should consider selling Ethan Nwaneri permanently this summer to a mid-level club, but include a low-cost buy-back clause in the agreement. It would give him the chance to play consistently and develop properly, while Arsenal would still maintain control over his long-term future similar to how Paris Saint-Germain handled Xavi Simons and how Real Madrid are managing Nico Paz.
With players like Martin Ødegaard, Eberechi Eze, and even Kai Havertz able to play in similar attacking roles, Nwaneri’s path to regular minutes may be difficult. A move like this could help him mature into a top player while still keeping the door open for a future return to Arsenal.

🚨Marco van Basten Congratulates Arsenal Fans but Brands Mikel Arteta a Failure
🗣️: “First, congratulations to the Arsenal fans because they suffered for a very long time. Three years in a row finishing second, missing trophies, constantly falling short at the decisive moment… mentally, that is exhausting for supporters. So they deserve to celebrate this title.
But football is not only about emotion. People are acting like Mikel Arteta has completed some historic revolution. I completely disagree.
If we are honest, Arsenal still do not play great football. I watch them every week and I struggle to see a true football identity. Everything is based on structure, physicality, rehearsed movements, set pieces and opponents making mistakes. Too many goals come from corners, deflections or own goals. Where is the creativity? Where is the freedom? Where is the beautiful attacking football Arsenal were once famous for?
People forgot how much money this manager has spent building this team. After spending that heavily, winning one Premier League title after years of failure is not enough for me. If Arteta truly wants to redeem himself as an elite coach, then he must win the Champions League. Otherwise Arsenal should seriously consider moving on from him.
Big clubs must be brutal. The Arsenal board has protected him for too long because expectations became too low after years without success. At a truly ruthless club like Barcelona or Real Madrid, Arteta would have been sacked a long time ago. There is no patience there for finishing second repeatedly while playing football without personality.
Winning the league is beautiful for the fans, yes. But for me, Arsenal are still far away from becoming a truly feared European superpower again.”

I will never forget Tim Cahill trying to tell the world what was happening at Arsenal while people tried to shout over him. He saw it coming before most, you have to respect it. 🫡

@CfcDan_01 @Grok is it true Arsenal will pay Chelsea those bonuses for Havertz, Madueke and Kepa in they win the UCL and EPL or its a classic clickbait
English

🚨 Arsenal will pay Chelsea an extra £10M for Madueke if they win the Champions League.
Arsenal will pay another £20M for Kai Havertz if they win both the UCL and EPL.
Arsenal will pay £5M for Kepa if they also do the double.
That's Incredible business from Chelsea. Arsenal have won the English Premier League already.
Chelsea fans , do you want them to win the champions League?

Cesc Fàbregas questions how Arsenal won the Premier League after 22 years:
"I’d say after waiting 22 years to win the league, Arsenal finally decided to abandon football and embrace professional wrestling. Every corner kick looks like a Royal Rumble, every set piece turns into a wrestling match, and somehow the referees allow it.
You expect champagne football from a team coached by Arteta, but half the time it feels like Stoke City in disguise with better marketing. Their attackers spend more time blocking defenders than actually playing football.
Fair play to them for winning the title, but if this becomes the future of football, we’re finished. Arsenal have turned corner kicks into a cheat code and made set pieces look more dangerous than open play."

Kenya’s 2nd Prime Minister the late Raila Amolo Odinga was a diehard fan of @Arsenal FC. On Saturday August 23rd last year, when Arsenal beat Leeds United 5-0, he rang me and asked if I had watched the fixture. “Oh yes sir, how can I miss to watch Arsenal playing?” I responded. He was beaming with joy. Happiness filled the air where he was. “Philip, this is our season” he said in his characteristic tone. “We shall be Champions this season”, he added. “Even the Champions League trophy, I believe we shall celebrate our team lifting it for the first time”, he said. He was very happy with the victory. Every time I watched an Arsenal match together with him and the Gunners won, he would jump up and down to celebrate the victory. I know this victory would have made him crazier. I believe Arsenal will beat PSG to lift the Champions League trophy as per Baba’s prediction. Yes we can. Continue Resting in Peace Champion.

@ahmednasirlaw @m8arteta and @Arsenal were told to find a way to win and they simply found a way and could be declared EPL Champions tonight if Man City fail to win at Bournemouth that's how effective Arteta ball is. That's all matters SC.

@afc_ben10 I still go for Gabriel Magalhes coz without a solid defence you can win no titles. I know all the three deserve it but Gabriel in my view takes a marginal lead

🚨🚨🗣️ Wayne Rooney on West Ham United vs Arsenal Game: 🤯
“People keep talking about individuals, moments, luck, referees and all the rest of it, but when I watch Arsenal, I see a proper football team. I see a side that is coached at the very highest level. Honestly, if you don’t rate this Arsenal team or you can’t understand the level of football they’re playing, then I’m sorry, you simply do not know football. And I’m saying that as someone who’s played the game at the top level for years.
This Arsenal side are unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. They are so compact, so organised, so disciplined in everything they do. There are no gaps, no panic, no unnecessary risks. Every single player understands his role. When you watch them, you almost don’t even see individuals anymore, you see a programme. You see a machine. Everything is synchronised. It takes a very high football IQ and tactical understanding to truly appreciate the level this team operates at.
People will watch them and say ‘they’re boring’ or ‘they’re robotic’, but do you know what I call it? Elite. I call it winning football. I call it a team that knows exactly who they are. There’s a reason they leave no lapses for opponents. There’s a reason teams struggle to break them down. There’s a reason they control matches the way they do. That doesn’t happen by accident.
I backed Arsenal from the very beginning of the season to win this league and people laughed at me. People told me City would walk it, people said Arsenal would bottle it again, but look where we are now. Two games left and Arsenal are on the verge of becoming champions. And honestly, I’m delighted for them because they deserve it.
The fans deserve it as well. Arsenal supporters have waited a long, long time for this feeling. They’ve gone through years of frustration, banter, disappointment, nearly moments, false dawns, all of it. But they stayed patient. They kept believing in the club, believing in the process, believing in the manager and the players. Now they’re finally about to get rewarded for that patience.
I think Mikel Arteta deserves enormous credit because what he’s built is not just a good side, it’s a culture. There’s standards there now. Serious standards. Every player fights for each other, every player works, every player sacrifices. That’s why they’re champions in my eyes.
And I’ll say this as a Manchester United man, this is the level I want Manchester United to get back to. This is the standard. Watching Arsenal now reminds me of what elite football clubs should look like. The control, the hunger, the mentality, the structure. When you get to this level, football becomes enjoyable again for the fans because they trust their team completely.
Arsenal fans can finally smile again because this team has given them something to be proud of. And I genuinely believe this is only the beginning for them. I think they’re going to do great things over the next few years.
So to everyone who laughed at my prediction earlier in the season, you’re not laughing now. Maybe it’s time people start respecting this Arsenal side properly because what they’re doing is special.”
