But is this true? It turns out that Airfinity data are very partial and misleading. Nearly 70% of UK upfront spending on vaccine calculated by Airfinity was actually for supply deal with Valneva which has produced no jab yet (not clear how much of this paid upfront either) 3/x

Here is a snapshot of the largest producers of vaccines. Much more supply is in the pipeline but all countries will need to share. It is essential to vaccinate the most vulnerable in the world *now* for the benefit of everyone. The pandemic is not over until it is over everywhere
