You can't teach someone to feel a sense of achievement - they have to do or make something to earn it. These types of assignments may seem silly but they help build confidence and a can-do attitude in children. Yaani, well done 😄

The city festival for underrepresented female authors has confirmed its 2024 dates. The two-day festival will take place on 5 and 6 July 2024. The theme is; WRITING to EXHALE and will be debating the benefits writing gives to wellbeing. Check out our new logo. #writers

I was chuffed to be invited by @Rethink_ charity to present some talented writers and their work around mental challenges that disrupt well-being at their conference. A creative approach, like writing to heal has proved more effective than counseling and swallowing pills.
