@badlogicgames That continues to be the most annoying thing. Agent: Done. Me: nope. Please run it. Append files. Agent. Done. Me: nope Question does codex cli have some additional system prompt to tell it agent to execute? PS. Enabled pi codex profile and that largely works well.

otoh it will outright refuse anything going against AGENTS.md/developer prompt. which is super annoying. took me 10 turns to convince it to just do the thing.

gpt 5.4 has gotten a lot better with prose. note quite at claude levels yet. its output style in chat also has more whitespace. both good improvements.

I really don't think people grasp how powerful Claude's Agent SDK is or the implications... Build agents in natural language that run in loops until the job is done with access to unlimited tools and custom skills

@ratecompare Honestly it’s probably not worth a lengthy reply, just send that screenshot & the website link to where you took it from. You’re not customer service, you’re just trying to do a fun (and good) thing. So on behalf of people that dig your work, thank you.

@ratecompare Easiest way to get out of an Adobe subscription is to cancel the credit card they are charging each month 💀

Adobe! I am trying to find the bloody cancel subscription button on your accounts page for the last 30 minutes. Are you playing some evil game of hide and seek?

an idea for paid plans: your $20 plus subscription converts to credits you can use across features like deep research, o1, gpt-4.5, sora, etc. no fixed limits per feature and you choose what you want; if you run out of credits you can buy more. what do you think? good/bad?

Horror story ±R300k illegally taken out of a RSA Retail Savings Bonds account. They story seems that a request for change of bank account was successfully made. Then a request for early withdraw of over R300k was successfully deposited into the scammers account. 1/n

Working on a new Tailwind CSS homepage so I’m curious — In your own words, why do you like using Tailwind in your projects?

South Africa: "TFSAs are great. You can invest up to R36k per year!" UK: "Hold my tea..." UK annual limit is £20k. About R450 000.

Should I add this health warning to the "Tax implications of withdrawing from an RA" calculator, I am working on?

@swartsrh Luckily there are some good, low cost index RAs. Sygnia, 10x, prescient. Costs can be below 1%.

Here is the best way to reduce tax on your bonus. Salary: R50k pm Bonus: R50k 😀 Tax on bonus: R18k 😢 Bonus after tax: R32k If you take 20% of your bonus and invest in a retirement annuity, you reduce your tax payable to R14.4. howtaxworks.co.za/questions/how-…

@swartsrh I wish it were CGT. That would make the case for RAs very easy. Unfortunately not that easy

@ratecompare @Tbo_Toush @ndizwanga @mommy_moneyza Based on today. I'd imagine it'd look a bit different in the future, but also, I'd expect the government to dig their claws in even deeper in the future too. But that is an excellent point that I should factor in because that would make a siginificant difference
