The FinTwit micro-cap playbook: → Find a tiny, illiquid stock ($200M, foreign-listed, thin volume) → Build a thesis anchored to a real mega trend — but with zero quantitative analysis. No revenue model, no margins, no balance sheet. Just vibes: "chokepoint" + "bottleneck" + name-drop hyperscalers. → Compare it to a $50B blue-chip to imply 100x upside → Post "I'm long" to 100K followers → Followers buy → stock rips → post gain as proof of genius → On green days: "Still early! $10B bull case!" → On red days: "Institutions are shaking the tree." → Seed future pumps by dropping lists of 10-15 obscure micro-caps under a credible-sounding theme ("CHIPS Act plays," "CPO chokepoints"). Most followers won't buy yet — but the names are planted for when the promoter is ready. → Repeat with the next pick The followers ARE the catalyst. The thesis doesn't need to be right. Red flags: • Sub-$500M, foreign-listed, low institutional ownership • "This is the next [famous $50B stock]" • Zero fundamental analysis — no revenue, no margins, no DCF. Just narrative. • Progressive FOMO updates ("up 50%, still early!") • "Seeding" lists of obscure micro-caps under macro themes • Unverifiable 500-900% return screenshots • "Not financial advice" after giving exact entries and $10B price targets If they stopped posting, would the stock still go up? If not, you're not investing — you're exit liquidity.

BREAKING: Anthropic accidentally leaked its next AI model and it just wiped out $14.5 billion from cybersecurity stocks in a single day. Claude Mythos was accidentally stored in a publicly accessible data cache and discovered before Anthropic could announce it. The model showed dramatically higher scores on cybersecurity tests, meaning AI can now detect and respond to threats at a level that traditionally required entire teams of security professionals and expensive enterprise software. Investors immediately started pricing in the question nobody in the industry wants to answer: if an AI model can do this, why does anyone need CrowdStrike? And the market answered immediately: - CrowdStrike is down 5.85%, wiping out $5.5 billion. - Palo Alto Networks is down 6.43%, wiping out $7.5 billion. - Zscaler is down 5.89%, wiping out $1.35 billion. - Tenable is down 9.70%, wiping out $185 million

$VCX — Saw CEO Ben Miller on TV calling this a “PR smear campaign” and saying critics are “talking up nonsense.” Basic math isn’t a smear—and it isn’t nonsense. 1+1+1 ≠ 25. Meanwhile, borrow is ~900%. You can’t stay short. So who’s collecting that—shareholders or the bank? Shoutout @BeckyQuick for actually calling it straight.

Prob a good day to sell some puts. I sold a bunch of $AAOI 93 puts expiring tomorrow. Not comfortable adding here with a heavy position but would love more at 92 after the recent string of news. Collected $100 premium per contract.

@JerzyGardener24 Stop hating it’s alright to miss out. Buying a stake in Anthropic is like buying into next $GOOG or even better. There won’t be any software in near future that doesn’t rely on claude to planning and developing

$VCX Sanity slowly returning to this ETF. Now at $199. Should be no more than $50 and fluctuating from there, and rising only when NAV appreciates or a holding has an IPO.

I am glad people start to see this. I have been investing long enough to see countless pump and dump schemes coming from WSB , discord. Be careful who you follow. A anonymous financial guru that shills over 100+ tickers with many of them going down 30-40% while claiming having a 10X YTD return WITH no actual account info and bad track records. What do you expect

This crash today is a good reason why it's good to stay invested. -> $AAOI is still up 233%? -> $IQE is still up ~100%? -> $SIVE is still up 100%+? -> $LITE is still up ~88%? -> $TSEM is up ~48%? -> $SOI is still up 36%? Even after today my $AXTI positions are still up ~680% after the drop today? Yes, red days look rough if something drops 13% or 20% and especially so if you're later to enter. But if you keep thinking it's going to: -> drop from $500m and sit out -> drop from $1b and sit out -> drop from $2b and sit out -> drop from $3b and sit out By the time it's $4B and there's finally a correction 15%, you missed out on the entire rise. People can say "hindsight bias, you're posting after it went up". No, I've posted these are the returns after my original thesis, and I'm just riding the wave up. I keep getting trolls like these in my comments sections, but hope it doesn't make others panic. Not everything moves in a green line up, same applies to other sectors and stocks if there’s no material change. Risk exists. And portfolio sizing is very important. But if you’re going to enter higher beta names in bottlenecks especially with a clear thesis in mind. Need to learn to embrace the volatility for your thesis to play out.

What a rug pull in $VCX. It was a popular way to get exposure to names like Anthropic, Databricks, OpenAI, Anduril & SpaceX but after running 10x in a week and trading around 25x NAV… it was a very obvious short.

@EhrmantrautCap_ Can you tell me what exactly has changed about these pump and dumps ? And new revival of old companies? Or another company that went through such a up and down cycle and is on a new ath? Objectively it’s only mag7 that has recovered and added more value.

POV: You bought $AAOI in 2026 for $90. It is now 2030, $AAOI is now trading at $700. You are enjoying your stay in Vietnam, in the beautiful nature and without any worries. The steak is medium rare and your beer is as good as it can get. Life is good.

Okay new unpatched money glitch. I'll go to some friends in Silicon Valley and have them put their Anduril and Anthropic SPVs in a CEF. Then I'll take it public. It will instantly trade 20x NAV. The VCs will make WAY more on 2/20 with me than with the actual shares.

1/5 Citron is short $VCX . $VCX is trading at $400+. Its assets are worth $19. SIMPLE MATH. The sponsor was fined by the SEC for paying 200+ influencers to promote their products without disclosure — willfully, for five years. They registered the domain GetVCX.com. Not VCXinfo. Not learnaboutVCX. Get. The domain name itself is the pitch. Their own prospectus discloses "Other Expenses – Marketing: 0.42%" charged to investors — roughly $3 million a year on a publicly traded security. Who is getting that money? . Full thread below. 🧵
