Excited for this partnership with @latticaai
Sunscreen@SunscreenTech

We're excited to announce our partnership with @latticaai to bring production-ready TFHE to developers. Our Parasol compiler helps builders turn ordinary code into high‑performance FHE programs. With Lattica's managed infrastructure, you can deploy encrypted computation without spinning up your own servers. What this means: compile locally with Sunscreen, deploy to Lattica, and run programs on encrypted data in production. No plaintext exposure, no infrastructure headaches. This opens the door for applications requiring exact computation on sensitive data - from smart contracts to secure voting to genomic analysis. Get started with 3 free compute hours: lattica.ai/tfhe Read more on our blog: blog.sunscreen.tech/deploying-tfhe…

I’ve been privacy pilled. Lately reading a lot about @Zcash and just learning about its origin. The video below is an interesting deep dive into the history of privacy in digital currencies and how $ZEC was born, everything told by @zooko. Since then I stumbled upon @SunscreenTech which have an extremely good and easy to use framework (SPE) to develop FHE web2 and web3 apps in seconds. Also, ended up contributing to the raise of @UmbraPrivacy. In my opinion, the ecosystem or protocol does not matter, we need privacy, any research or advance is important no matter where it comes from, we must keep everything open source and with good intentions to keep accelerating. I really think privacy is a must in the digital age and verifiability with privacy is an extremely important aspect for the future. From businesses being able to do transactions privately to avoid having industry secrets leaked or being tracked by competition to inviduals being able to spend their money without surveillance. Privacy is a must for the future and for the adoption of blockchain, to keep empowering users and keep their freedom. Thanks to @AndyGuzmanEth for the conversations we’ve had and made me realize even more how important privacy is.

We've seen a lot of memes, we've seen a lot of pump and dumps getting us all jaded with the space What's the cutting edge stuff to get optimism going again? Something exciting, novel, groundbreaking? Would be curious if anyone has any cool tech to share

FHE is going to enable 1) private stable coins 2) confidential DeFi (e.g. private perps) 3) private voting 4) Privacy rollups A few key players to watch: Zama, Fhenix, Inco, Phantom Zone, Enclave, Sunscreen, OpenFHE (there’s more)

My ultimate vision for FHE is that all software must run on encrypted data by default, shifting the internet from trust-based to trustless. I believe this will unlock a new paradigm of human computer interaction where our true preferences, behaviors, and interactions can shape AI, finance, and social systems without ever being exposed.

Jevon's Paradox & FHE Jevon's paradox is an economic principle that states that when technological advancements increase the efficiency with which a resource is used, the overall consumption of that resource may increase rather than decrease. For example, in making cars more fuel-efficient, we are practically lowering the cost per mile, which results in people actually driving more. What's interesting is that the increased efficiency makes the resource cheaper and more accessible, leading to new applications and higher demand that can outpace the efficiency gains. I believe we're in the first innings of witnessing something similar with respect to Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). In the next 6 months, we're going to see the first revenue-generating, business application of FHE, solving a real pain point for crypto companies that is costing them hundreds of millions of dollars annually. Although this application will be specific and what some may call 'niche', it will be scalable - potentially worth tens of millions in revenue. This productization of FHE will allow us to further unlock more performance gains and cost savings (even fund specialized hardware) to make FHE overall more performant. All of which ultimately will allow us to further deploy FHE in more new applications, solving other bigger real-world problems that are too performance or cost-sensitive today.

So far this year, our small but mighty team shipped: 👉 a new variant of the TFHE scheme. 👉 an FHE compiler (Parasol) delivering state-of-the-art performance (17x faster than the second best). 👉 an integrated, end-to-end, chain-agnostic FHE platform (SPF) and engine for deploying FHE programs with a few lines of code. 👉 a breakthrough research paper and got accepted in the IEEE S&P 2026.
