Happy birthday Dilip 'Colonel' Vengsarkar. So elegant when he stood up tall and hit the ball. Remembered mostly for his three 100s at Lords, but, between 1983 and 1987, Vengsarkar comfortably outscored Gavaskar, Miandad, Richards & Border & was probably the best test batsman in the world. My abiding memory of Vengsarkar was actually a domestic game, can never forget his emotional reaction to Bombay falling just two runs short in a Ranji final against Haryana in 1991, when his unbeaten 139 and heroic partnership with Sachin just fell short.

@anubhavdps @AMIT_GUJJU You have it reversed.Blasts happened in April 93 (in retribution for) riots that happened in 2 different phases in dec 92(post babri) and jan 93. And even tho ppl assume direct babri causality,if you dig deep enough there where specific incidents which triggered both rounds.

@AMIT_GUJJU Bombay was a movie based on Bombay riots of 1992, a riot in which Hindus targeted Muslim communities as retribution to Bombay blasts orchestrated by Dawood So if it shows muslims as victims hows that a propaganda For bhakts everything after 2014 is fact and before was a lie

NYSE A-D line divergence has attended many, but not all, important tops. Divergence was conspicuously absent in January 2026, reducing, but not eliminating, the chance that a cyclical bear market is underway.

THE SKIN DOCTOR
THE SKIN DOCTOR@theskindoctor13·
No dignity in life, no dignity in death. This small clip is from Khabargaon’s YouTube channel, a disturbing, brutally honest documentary that confronts institutional apathy, titled: Dead Body Finder. In Punjab, if your loved one is missing and you fear they are dead, relatives almost always visit the Khanauri Barrage, where the Bhakra Canal enters Haryana and Rajasthan. Khanauri has quietly become a convergence point for the dead. Every month, 30–45 bodies surface here, victims of crime, accidents, or suicide. Almost every day, families from Punjab gather here, scanning the water with grim expectation. They are not waiting for rescue, but for confirmation. A body. Any body. Hoping, and at the same time fearing, that it might be their missing relative. The Punjab govt has effectively ceded this space. There is no structured recovery mechanism, no adequate preservation system, no urgency. Even basic court-directed interventions remain unimplemented. Worse, the police allow bodies to drift past jurisdictional boundaries into Haryana and Rajasthan to avoid documentation and investigation. In this vacuum, one individual, Ashu Malik, has, for years, been performing this grim task, repeatedly entering hazardous waters to retrieve the dead to help out the desperate relatives get the closure. He has retrieved 10,000 bodies in the last 32 years and documented them. Please do watch it, but only if you can handle the graphic, deeply unsettling reality it presents.
