@ravkum This is scary and I am wondering how could this have happened as updating contact details should have required 2FA via otp sent to older/existing phone/email id. Anyways, I think at this moment you should escalate it as much as possible.

@ravkum One suggestion would be to report this matter (unauthorized transaction) to the National Cyber Crime Helpline and also have a record of an email sent to HDFC customer care, so that you have records to show that you intimated them in time.

@HDFCBank_Cares Ok so the response by 30july for such a security issue is unacceptable.. in the meantime atleast freeze the account so fybds can not be withdrawn by the other person who has access to OTPs!!!
