@Praveen72341589 Another mistake by YSRCP. People like him have no credibility and you promote such loose tongue fellows and you all end up being nothing. Jagan and his strategies worked in 2019 but people have seen these games now

My post is limited to the way GenZ responded to a remark by a learned judge. There are lessons to be learnt for us in everything and we need to learn how to tap on the power of GenZ. This is what our President @PawanKalyan garu has been focussing on too...on harnessing the energy of GenZ.

@NewsArenaIndia That’s how a matured politician n leader thinks. Go back to drawing board, analyse reasons for failure n come back stronger. Not being a sore losers like RG, Jagan n Didi who blame EVMs and EC when they lose n when they win it’s their sole hard work. DMK only issue nepo backing.

TN CM MK Stalin- "Past election results showed that whenever we lost power, we won only a very small number of seats. This time, we won 59 seats. If we add the seats secured by our allies, the tally rises to 73. Unlike other parties, we did not lodge our MLAs in resorts and star hotels out of fear, but were brave enough to face defeat. I do not want to blame anyone for our inability to return to power. As the leader of the party, I take responsibility for this defeat. When I can take pride in victory, there is nothing wrong with taking responsibility for failure rather than blaming others. That is only fair."

@Kautilya_Uvacha @uniquekrishna Atleast they worked in the party and were active in the ground for Janasena. Anyways, I have no issue with Vijay appointing anyone as his OSD, as long as they bring quality suggestions for him. Logic instead of just magic 🤣

@dmuthuk I hope he does well for people. He should learn quickly in terms of administration and focus on development (along with welfare). It’s no more cinema now, once reality hits to the people, the love will turn to betrayal and hate. So let’s wish him best and I hope he does very well

I absolutely had no clue about the kind of craze or obsession a section of people in Tamil Nadu have for Vijay. Old timers say the only person to enjoy such a craze before Vijay was MGR. They say the kind of craze Vijay has is even higher than MGR, amplified by smartphone and social media era. I wouldn't have believed at all had I not started seeing myself, hearing many similar stories from known circle and so on. They cry, laugh, dance, whistle and pray for Vijay. I was told many women even from well educated forward communities too were conducting prayers in temples for last few days. So the craze is not restricted to any particular profile or section of the society. From small children to youth to women, the kind of craze for Vijay is beyond my understanding. I'm unable to understand what makes them to be like this. What Vijay has done to enjoy this level of trust? I've seen his films too. May be they saw thing which people like me could not see on the screen. Why I'm unable to make any comment on this phenomenon because I'm clueless as to how this would impact Tamil Nadu and it's people in the future. Need to see how this story unfolds. This is Vijay's time.

@Akshita_N Thats called inexperience. Imagine how this guy would run govt with complex bureaucratic systems in place? This is one of the reasons why in AP, PK wanted a experienced statesman to run whilst he learning like an apprentice

@ThisIsAnantha In this entire post results episode, one thing is clear is Vijay lacks political and shallow leadership skills. With this context, it would be really challenging in administration and managing bureaucracy. He needs to get strong team or else he is destined to fail

@Akshita_N This again indicating shallowness in Vijay’s leadership qualities and lack of political experiencd. Ppl have shown faith in him but in tough times, he should get things done.

@ThisIsAnantha Embracing Congress is worst option of all both for short and long term. Being independent, prove himself with administration. While admin (particularly with no experience with bureaucracy) is going to be very challenging and could show him weak. Political AIADMK is best

There are many pathways to power for TVK. Everyone is discussing them. We’ll break them down with an eye on stability and the 2029 polls. 1. TVK OPENLY EMBRACES THE CONGRESS:. The Congress jettisons the DMK and mobilises CPI, CPM, and other secular partners to prevent TVK from moving towards the NDA. This is quite likely, given Rahul G’s cold equations with the DMK. He can overrule local resistance now that Selva Perunthagai is gone. The problem for Vijay here is that the Congress would demand its pound of flesh not in terms of cabinet positions, but in steadfast opposition to the NDA government at the Centre. The Congress would prefer TVK to be at loggerheads with the Centre. This may align with TVK’s ideological stance, but at a practical level it would give Vijay little leeway to implement many of his promised schemes. Cooperation with the Centre can open up new vistas, but the Congress would dislike any such overtures. 2. TYING UP WITH NDA CITING AN ANTI-DMK MANDATE: This is another option. But there are two issues. The AIADMK will likely ask for the Deputy Chief Minister’s post and a host of key cabinet positions. Running a coalition with no chemistry can hurt Vijay’s image. Also, being seen aligning with the NDA after an anti-BJP campaign may hurt his equity with minorities. Hence, this option is weak in the long term. 3. ENGINEERING A SPLIT IN THE AIADMK: Another option before Sengottaiyan is to reconnect with his former colleagues in the AIADMK and incentivise a split. This may be a long-term play, but starting off with perceived horse-trading could damage TVK’s image. It is better if such a shift happens organically over time. 4. RALLYING SMALLER PARTIES ACROSS THE BOARD: This would involve smaller parties breaking from both the DMK and AIADMK to support Vijay. Such an arrangement would be inherently unstable, as these parties could be incentivised at any point to withdraw support. 5. RUNNING A MINORITY GOVERNMENT: The best option, for now, is to run a minority government, on the lines of P. V. Narasimha Rao from 1991 to 1996. Here’s how it could work: TVK stakes claim and proves its strength on the floor. The NDA would hesitate to vote against the government. The Congress and the Left would also be reluctant. Even the DMK may not want to be seen toppling a new government. As a result, TVK stays in power because no one wants it out. This works well for Vijay. He can remain equidistant from both the Congress and the NDA. He can implement his populist schemes quickly, secure the Centre’s support for key initiatives, and keep the Congress engaged through minority-friendly measures. After a year, if things appear unstable, he can threaten to pull the plug and call for fresh elections. This would spook other parties, as they would fear Vijay returning with a full majority. Such an approach could take Vijay to 2029. Ahead of the parliamentary polls, he could even push for simultaneous elections and return with a thumping mandate. The more one thinks about it, a minority government seems to work best for Vijay.

@KasiraoJSP Comparative analysis is common psychology in shortsighted ppl. YSR had to wait 20+ years to become CM since he entered politics but Jagan being his son became fairly quickly using his name. Success paths are different for different people so take a chill and let this pass

@KasiraoJSP Don’t worry, when compared to post Jhonny situations and 2019 election results, these are not big deal. This is just a passing cloud, while Vijay win is great but real test for him starts in Administration. Success in elections gives kick but good name comes with hard work
