Great to finally be back playing travel ball at Scenic City this weekend! My favorite moment was going back-to-back with @16_zoeyc twice in the same game, launching bombs in both the 1st and 3rd innings. SLG 1.074 with 9 XBH. 🥎: Class 6 quarterfinals Grassfield 3, Lake Braddock 2 WP: Braelyn Bailey (13-3); LP: MacKenzie Verdejo. Bailey struck out 8, & she went 2 for 4 w/ an RBI. Rayleigh Lower also went 2 for 4 w/ an RBI. Sydney Jones finished w/ 1 run, & Taylor Burrell hit a walk-off sac fly.

🥎: Class 6 Region A semifinals #1 Grassfield 3, #4 Manchester 2 WP: Braelyn Bailey (11-3); Camryn Winiarski. Rayleigh Lower and Taylor Burrell each went 1 for 3 with one run, and Aubrey Mitchell went 2 for 3. On the mound, Braelyn Bailey pitched seven innings with 13 strikeouts.

Some of my favorite Freshman Varsity season stats: • BA: .380 • OBP: .515 • SO: 2 • Assists: 21 • PO: 32 But the most important was our team record of 17-3 while facing some of the best competition in VA and finishing as the #1 team in Region 6A. What I valued most this season was learning from Seniors, growing as a teammate, and stepping into the SS role to do whatever the team needed from me.
