$QS Closer than ever. The 200 SMA around $10 looks like the real deciding level we want to reclaim and hold. The broader battery theme is heating up for obvious reasons: expensive gasoline, growing awareness of the seriousness of QuantumScape’s OEM partnerships, the Eagle Line, 500-mile range with 15-minute charging, and the enormous grid and data center storage angles sitting in the background. The idea that a once-in-35-years advance in battery technology should be worth only $4B is simply a reflection of market sentiment. That will change. I expect QS to rise further from here, and when more commercialization news finally emerges from behind confidentiality agreements, the moves can become very, very large very quickly. We do not know exactly when those moments hit. The point is to be positioned before they do. This is what makes my account here a little different from many others. I am a thesis investor. When I understand the asymmetry, I am perfectly willing to wait. Plenty of people prefer to chase the theme of the day, and everyone should do what works for them. I see what I see here, and I think it is extraordinary. share.trendspider.com/chart/QS/11687…

@itsjcmerlo You were idiotic enough to pay $200 month to Kevin "the pump and dumper" Xu. He blocks you and you start begging for mercy like a little simp bitch boy. Pathetic.

@JKeynesAlpha Come on, we all knew this was coming. These X pump and dumpers are a dime a dozen. He's no different. Surprised he didn't launch a $QS shitcoin to scam his followers

$QS Kevin Xu, who is obviously free to trade however he wants, bought QuantumScape for about 36 hours and then sold it. Bye bye. Fun while it lasted. Nothing about the thesis has changed. Nothing about the chart, which still looks technically strong, has changed either. People buying $QS for 36 hours because 1 guy tries to pump it is funny, and we are better off without that crowd. I initially thought it was cool to get some new eyeballs on the stock. Then came the sequence of saying QS is great, trying to pump it, which seemed not to work precisely because it was not couched in terms of the actual company thesis or catalysts, and exiting before the supposed “pump.” Genuinely comical. $QS will pump harder when they are gone, and for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with them. LOL

$QS @kevinxu great pick! Battery theme is ripe, and QS is a leader. Let’s ride 🚀

@chan2pa Kevin Xu - bringing impatient $$ into our community looking for a quick short squeeze. This morning's dump couldn't have been more predictable. Now, just waiting on all his followers to start filling my timeline crying & bashing a $QS stock they know absolutely nothing about.

👀 Before Kevin Xu posted “I found a banger” at 7:44 PM ET (after market close at 4 PM), $QS had already rallied in regular trading and closed at $8.42. It continued rising in after-hours, approaching $9.00 around 7 PM. Then he posted it. There must be some hidden catalyst.💎

@kshaughnessy2 @Cognitobot I have an idea Why don't people take responsibility for their own actions & stop making investment decisions based on internet personalities & media? Stop being lazy, do your own DD & form your own investment thesis I no longer feel sorry for these retail investors

Opening Statements in Andrew Left’s Criminal Trial “…The feds contend that Left said one thing about the stocks of over 20 companies and then took a contrary action after the market moved based on his statements, raking in more than $20 million in the process….. …. "He could send the price of a stock tumbling with just a single tweet." …They said his go-to move was to "target a stock owned by everyday retail investors, tweet, and trade the opposite."…”

@magsonthemoon In summary - if you want to create generational wealth for yourself, learn to do DD on early stage companies that have built a defensible & profitable moat, be patient and most importantly.. STOP being a degenerate gambling on options And buy shares, for God's sake.

We are heading into both monthly and quarterly OpEx (in June) and I wanna talk for a quick minute about options gamma ramps, charm, and the impact it can have on stocks in both directions. Lots of retail traders see big volume in far out-of-the-money weekly calls and get excited. “Look at all these bets, this stock is about to explode higher! Gamma ramp babyyyy!” You’re not wrong, but hold up for a sec fam. That’s only one side of the equation, the side us optimistic retards know best. When you buy your calls, the market maker who sold them is now short the calls. To stay delta-neutral, they hedge by buying some shares of the stock. The number of shares they buy depends on delta, a first-order Greek that measures how sensitive the option is to a $1 move in the stock. Higher delta (deep in-the-money or at-the-money calls) means more shares bought for the hedge. Far OTM calls start with low delta with minimal initial buying. And just like theta decay eats away at an option’s value over time like a nasty bitch, **charm** (delta decay) reduces that delta as expiration approaches. As it becomes clear those high strikes probably won’t finish in the money, market makers no longer need as many shares for their hedge. They sell them back into the market. This creates downward pressure on the stock, especially in the final days before expiration. That’s why big OTM call volume often looks super bullish at first… but can actually weigh on the stock later. It’s also why true gamma ramps to the upside are rare, while this charm-driven selling pressure happens more frequently with heavy OTM call open interest. So Mags, what DOES create the fabled gamma ramp to the upside? Sustained buying pressure close to expiration that pushes the stock higher, combined with heavy open interest in near-term calls clustered just above the current price. As the stock rises, gamma kicks in and market makers have to buy more shares to hedge the increasing delta. This can create a self-reinforcing feedback loop like we saw in January 2021. It’s worth keeping in mind that market makers try their damndest to stay neutral and prevent a sneeze situation from happening. But it absolutely can happen, with the right dynamics. Always manage your own risk and be aware of the open interest and the impact expiration approaching will have on the underlying stock. May the delta be ever in your favor. Love you degens. ❤️

@kevinxu @Defiantclient2 @QuantumScapeCo Disappointed. Not at all what this community needs. A swing trader with 135K followers that have the attention span of a gnat. Zero interest in doing DD to invest & with patience will hold a stock that will create generational wealth.

@Defiantclient2 @QuantumScapeCo one of my criteria for picking stocks is, even if the short term swing trade fails, would i still be okay holding the stock? so $QS passes that for me.

NEW TRADE: ALL IN $QS. Highly speculative play. Catalyst is 13F drops this week. - $5B val with $1B cash and 20% short interest - volume has been creeping up (me like) - huge open interest on calls this week (spicy) - copper is going up, "battery trade" might be a play - CEO was an EVP at $SNDK and president at $WD, notice anything? - rentech, vanguard, blackrock, etc all increased holdings in Q4 last year. more 13Fs dropping this week might reveal more hedge funds who loaded up in Q1 alerted subscribers here first (ty ♥️) been watching this stock for a whole day and binged a bunch of youtube videos last night on solid state batteries. high level $QS is the leader (with patents) and they've been sharing a lot on social media. they recently expanded their market beyond evs to include ai data centers and defense companies and also switched to a licensing business model (smart). risk is that solid state batteries have been "almost here" for 5+ years now and still not at commercialization scale (currently at pilot scale). this is quick technical play but also a fine long-term hold too. problem is one would have to be really patient to wait for their next update on commercialization. as a reminder: this is my challenge account where i restarted with $35k to go all-in swing trading 1 stock at a time to $10M again. now at $59k. took the L on $HIMS for -5% loss. TLDR: earnings was not bad, but not that exciting short-term either. better to come back to it in a few months pleaase do your own research. this is mainly a technical-based swing trade. meaning: quick in and out. sorry it took so long for the thesis. been driving and in meetings all day. the trade came together really quickly and i wanted to share it and my thoughts as fast and thoroughly as i can. its hard to notice "now" is the time, make the trade, record it, and write a good cited with sources post while on the go. pls lmk how i can improve.

@kevinxu Looks like there’s been plenty of insider selling $QS over the year. Your wrapper must still be running on training data from early 2020. $HIMS will do just fine
