Not all religions are the same. Islam has animal slaughter rules which require killing animals in a relatively swift and painless fashion (dhabiha). Hinduism does not impose any standard of this type. Some Hindu texts and customs encourage vegetarianism. Others encourage holy men to bite the heads off of animals, or even eat their faces off - as we see here. Many justly criticize Hinduism for encouraging many immoral practices like caste, untouchability, widow burning (sati), human sacrifice (purushamedha), child temple prostitution (devadasi), and ritual sex with dead horses (ashvamedha). However, an equally large problem with Hinduism is that it incorporates many contrary views, and thus does not offer its followers clear moral guidance. Clearly some Hindu religious leaders need to be told that it is immoral to eat the faces off of animals. Hindus are too arrogant to admit that their religion is inferior to many others. They are especially insecure about admitting Islam's superiority. Fine. Here is my challenge to Hindus - which I doubt any Hindu will be brave enough to take up. Do you admit that that there are other religious traditions which are superior to your own? If so, name those religions which are superior to Hinduism.
