Awful business. One of the worst signings, pound for pound, we have ever made. Nothing personal, I like him and I was/am supporting him to do well. But he has such little impact on the outcome of our games. It’s not even about G/A, he doesn’t influence the game in any way.

That is the most explicit possible act of vassal loyalty. The current China-Russia partnership is just a marriage of temporary convenience between two powers that fundamentally do not trust each other.
