Topic for discussion: is this the greatest six episode run of Doctor Who ever? Human Nature / Family of Blood Blink Utopia / Sound of Drums / Last of the Time Lords Six absolutely blistering episodes, the likes of which we can only dream of today What do you think??

@DW_MidJourney @DoctorWhoNovels Controversial opinion - I don’t think Utopia is a great episode - it’s largely remembered for the last five minutes - same as Fugitive of the Judoon is average with that twist ending

@DoctorWhoNovels I agree, but.. Empty Child/Doctor Dances/Boomtown/Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways/Christmas Invasion is PRETTY strong.

@miadoctorwho All era of Who have their terrible stories - I guess we keep watching cos we know that the show can and will do better stuff - I’ve been watching since 1981 so I’m definitely in it for the long haul

I think most current doctor who fans are stuck with the show for life because if The Giggle, Empire Of Death, Interstellar Song Contest and The Reality War won’t make you stop watching the show then nothing can be bad enough to make you quit.

As expected, Rendition was really solid. It took me a good bit to get comfortable with Michael Troughton though, his performance itself really captures the character, it's just jarring hearing a higher pitched, more nasally (?) second Doctor rather than Pat.
