While one blockbuster makes or breaks a season we roped in two!
Every 6 to 7 years it seems to happen for the Philly to Boston coastal corridor. Rarer to see back to back seasons thereof though the 2010s coughed up two such instances.

I still think about this most recent blizzard a lot…
Crazy 10-15 miles can make such a big difference for banding.
Places with little to no elevation 36-40”+ of snow.
Would’ve seen 25-35” of snow had that been the case instead of ~18 accumulation.
Great storm for me.
But everyone knows the difference between their all time storms and great storms.
This was an all timer but not for me.
I wrote down some notes right after the blizzard that I’ll explore in a blizzard analysis vid at some point in the coming weeks/months.
But I wouldn’t change too much about this winter tbh.
Would’ve been great to see 30”+ of snow? Sure. But outside of the widespread busts there wasn’t really one system where I was so completely left out.
And it made it so there weren’t too many let downs.
And also I experienced a true blizzard for ~8-10 hours straight. Very rarely get to say that so far inland.

If both parties MAXXED OUT on gerrymandering, the House could potentially end up with 262 Republicans to 173 Democrats. That's because Republicans control more state governments with multiple districts, and Democrat voters congregate in cities. This makes it easy-peazy to pack Democrats voters into fewer districts. This would actually be a depiction of the ACTUAL population ideology throughout communities HENCE is fair Congressional redistricting.

A wave of bad economic news just dropped:
U.S. GDP grew just 2% in Q1 2026, below the 2.2% estimate (and well below the 5% estimate from Howard Lutnick)
Meanwhile, inflation rose 0.7% in March. Prices are up 3.5% from a year ago, the highest in nearly three years.
U.S. gas prices just hit a $4.30 national average, per AAA, the highest in four years.
The national debt just crossed 100% of GDP for the first time since 1946.
