That BS ! Its not as if casteism is a closely held secret which has just been exposed by the SC judgement. It has been a part of the Hindu community for centuries. It has been acknowledged as an evil & hence many remedies have been put in place. Reams & reams of literature has been churned out on the subject. It has been the target of hundreds of reformers of good faith & bad. Entire political ideologies have been constructed based on caste & against caste. And you are acting as if this is a moment of epiphany for you ! You are the only one who has been too stupid or dumb to notice all your life.

Court: "No person who professes a religion other than Hindu, Sikh or Buddhist shall not be a member of Scheduled caste. Conversion to any other religion results in loss of Scheduled caste status." Is it just me, or does anybody else find this verdict incredibly problematic?  Because by giving this ruling, the Supreme Court has effectively emphasized the following realities: 1. Caste is an internal problem of Hinduism. Full stop. It is not some vague cultural leftover, it is baked into the very structure of the faith. 2. Caste is not an “Indian” problem — it is a scripturally sanctioned Hindu problem. The ruling makes it crystal clear: this inequality doesn’t belong to the nation at large; it is religiously codified within Hinduism alone. 3. Persecution ends the moment you leave Hinduism. The verdict essentially says that the moment someone exits the faith, the caste-based discrimination the state recognises magically disappears. It frames leaving Hinduism as the quickest route to dignity, which, from a modern perspective, reflects terribly on a religion that requires people to abandon it to escape inequality. 4. Leave Hinduism and you instantly become 'equal'.  The court has now legally declared that stepping away from Hinduism is enough to grant you equality in the eyes of the state. That’s not progress; that’s an admission that Hinduism is the only barrier standing between a person and equal treatment. 5. The Supreme Court probably didn’t think this through. In trying to stick to the 1950 Order, the bench has inadvertently proven something far bigger: that only Hinduism, among all religions, is constitutionally recognised as carrying systemic inequality. By tying SC status exclusively to it, the verdict has painted Hinduism as the sole faith that believes in and requires hierarchy. I seriously doubt most Indian scholars have realised the deeper implication yet. But this one singular verdict has done what decades of debate couldn’t: it has legally and symbolically established that only Hinduism doctrinally endorses inequality.

@MAHESH79989822 @darab_farooqui Religious conversion mafia got burnt! The SC (Supreme Court) verdict on SC (Scheduled caste) decapacitated the Soul Vultures, who lured vulnerables to their fold and also capitalised on reservations. A lot of damage done but atleast now it comes

Indian deep-tech startup Genrobotics has secured an ₹80 crore contract with Singapore’s water authority to deploy 44 robots for cleaning & inspecting sewer networks over the next two years. The company beat over 600 global firms following an 18-month evaluation. This was particularly satisfying news for me because I invested in them in 2020. And I invested because I was moved by the fact that their motive for starting the company was to create the ‘Bandicoot,’ for ridding the country of manual scavenging. This was not a goal that would deliver them a fast path to an IPO and sky-high valuations & make them extraordinarily rich. But it was a goal that would have a dramatic social impact. Our municipalities were not just robbing workmen of their dignity, but putting their lives at risk. The Bandicoot robot would rectify that. So, to paraphrase Robert Frost: They took the path “…less traveled by / And that has made all the difference” In other words, they created a purpose-led company And the news of their win in Singapore was gratifying because it signals that purpose and profits are not at odds with each other. (Since that win, they also have won a ₹17 crore tender from the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) for the deployment of its advanced Bandicoot Mobility+ robotic sewer cleaning systems.) Startups like Genrobotics that are created with a higher Purpose, are my #MondayMotivation

Several years ago, engineers at a major Indian OEM wanted to add a simple valve to their own engine. They knew how to do it. The problem: the software running inside their own vehicle's ECU was locked. The key was in Germany. Three years later, the problem remained unsolved. 🧵

My hunch says there's lots and lots of oil under India, on & off-shore. We just haven't explored much and haven't developed what we found. India collided with the Himalayas transiting through the tropical zone for millions of years. Entire forests must have got buried under.
Aravind@aravind

@narendramodi Great to see this. We need to explore more oil & gas in India and off-shore on a mission. And get them all pumping our oil in a decade. I believe there's so much of oil unexplored in India as it must have been covered in tropical forests for millions of years before.

Right. So let me get this straight. The most expensive military on the planet, a institution that consumes more money annually than the GDP of most countries, looked at a twenty thousand dollar drone and said, yes, the correct response to this is a four hundred thousand dollar missile. Twenty times the cost. They did the maths and thought, brilliant, let’s do that. Repeatedly. And then, magnificently, one week in, they rang Ukraine. Ukraine. The country their own president had just finished publicly flogging in the Oval Office like a Victorian schoolmaster with a particularly dim pupil. Trump stood there, chest out, that extraordinary hair doing whatever it does, and announced to the assembled cameras of the world that Ukraine was absolutely the last country he would ever consider asking for help. Seven days later, someone in the Pentagon picked up the phone. The truly staggering part is not the incompetence. Incompetence is everywhere, it’s practically ambient at this point. No, what takes your breath away is the confidence. These people were not quietly embarrassed and privately regrouping. They were strutting. Full chest, full volume, telling the world how this was going to go. It did not go that way. Ukraine, the country they don’t need, is now apparently quite necessary. Remarkable. Stay connected, Gandalv @Microinteracti1

35–40 years from today, when the history of this era is written and scholars discuss examples of diplomacy in the world, they will likely say something like this: When countries on one side of the Strait of Hormuz- Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain- were in conflict with Iran, and ships were unable to pass through the strait, there was one leader in the world who continued securing oil and gas for his country from the Gulf, while Iran ensured his country’s ships could pass safely through the Strait of Hormuz. When the Russia–Ukraine war was raging, there was a leader who managed to safely evacuate his country’s citizens from Ukraine, and Russia paused hostilities to allow that evacuation. When the United States and Europe imposed heavy sanctions on Russia because of the war, there was a leader who continued buying Russian oil and helped stabilize global energy supplies. When Israel and Palestine were locked in conflict, there was a leader respected by both sides, receiving honors and maintaining dialogue with each. When the world was divided into blocs- America and Europe on one side, Russia and China on the other; there was a leader who maintained strong relations with all of them, balancing diplomacy while advancing trade and national interest. That leader was Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, who served his nation for two decades (2014–2034). During his tenure, India emerged as a country everyone wanted to partner with. Namo Namah 🙏🚩 Nation First 🇮🇳🚩
