@FiftyFootNest Last election in Alberta in 2023 united conservatives only got 52% of the vote. That dosen't should like the “people of Alberta”. Alberta isn’t going anywhere.
@2penneysworth@FiftyFootNest Are suggesting that your god south of our border should violate our sovereignty? He can’t, he’s created enough of his own problems in his own country and even if he wanted to, he can’t. Do better. Im done
@rbdoiron@FiftyFootNest Not philosophy. History.
Like the woman said - just watch them. Like POTUS said - just lines on maps.
If Albertans asks the Americans to help facilitate secession, how do you think that ends? Trump denies their request bc of an SCC ruling?
@2penneysworth@FiftyFootNest Geesus. Please know the basics when discussing matters of state and please avoid the philosophical insertions to mask your cerebral constipation.
@rbdoiron@FiftyFootNest Turns out people can just do things. A piece of paper will not stop them.
If Albertans vote to leave, the USA will ensure their peaceful secession, regardless of what Ottawa or the other provinces think.
Strong countries do what they can, weak countries suffer what they must.
There is no doubt that @PierrePoilievre and his team ran an incredible campaign.
The highest vote percentage in modern Conservative history.
The most amount of total votes for our party, ever.
New seats all over the country.
His inspirational leadership has brought more people into the Conservative movement.
His continued leadership will ensure we finish the job next time.
This discussion is real, NB MLA wages have been frozen since 08, and has been a point of private discussion for a long time amount colleagues. After this Provincial election, the next cohort of MLAs will receive a sizeable raise beginning in Nov. it is long overdue.
@TheFwordNB Yeah. Glad you've at least agreed there lacks detail. I remember when she campaigned for leader. She said she was going to drain the "back room" swamp. He first official act as leader was to hire Don Arsenault. Remember Steven. The details
@TheFwordNB You're sorta right. There is no cost to a request but it's potentially a promise. But there are details. She hasn't costed anything because there no Costable details & it would seem in the absence of details costing will be impossible for her.
@TheFwordNB It's not a promise. It's a RFP. It's part of an overall plan. It doesn't matter who wins the election this is a good thing either way red or blue.
