@JasonGregor Just out of curiosity I read through the proposed changes and nowhere did I see anything related to a no fault policy, it explicitly says at fault people would have increased premiums, the only caveat being people would end up paying their own deductibles

@IterIntellectus I’d love to see the receipts on that cost analysis. Insulin profits alone could fund drug trials for the next 1000 years. If medical science was there to help people and not make money I bet we would be way farther ahead today. Not to mention the amount of public money donated.

here’s the real cost of clinical trials: phase I ~$30M, phase II ~$90M, phase III >$250M, with the total cost (including failures) hitting $1.1B per drug. but sure, let’s keep pretending that if it costs $5 to manufacture, it should be sold at $5

@barlyn108 It is unfortunately impossible to keep up infrastructure and public services with mass immigration, these things take time with a slow population increase, when it jumps as much as it has there really is very little that can be done in the short term

My Granddaughter started grade 2 in a public school in SE Calgary. It is so over capacity that the library has been made into her classroom and there are 53 kids in this class, and now no library for any students. This is beyond unacceptable. #DanielleSmithFailingStudents #abpoli

@KristinRaworth Although bear with me for a second, half of Edmontons hospitals are already run by Covenant health and I’ve never heard someone complain about it up to this point….

Listen this Covenant Health taking over hospitals thing is beyond enraging to me. First off to be clear I’m a Catholic. I go to church but I don’t believe for a second my faith should dictate other people’s health choices. Covenant Health however does. 1/2 #ableg

@cspotweet 2) I’m not sure there is a pool of unemployed doctors out there that the government is just not willing to pay for.

@cspotweet 1)It’s interesting to me the lack of focus on the impact uncheck immigration and refugees flowing into a country with a public healthcare system has on that system. It seems to me doctors have a finite number of patients they are able to see on any given day.

Alberta failed Steven Wong. Diagnosed with cancer May 2 - dead July 19- the 41-year old father never saw a medical oncologist despite his wife Cici fighting with every ounce for care. She's bravely sharing her story in hopes of sparing others her grief. podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/wid…

@dstaples could you not match the offer sheets and send the players down to Bakersfield because they are both waiver exempt as far as I know that way the Kane Ltir is more than enough to give Edmonton more time to figure out the salary

@JasonGregor Close to 50 percent of the council is appointed by a government body ergo government bureaucracy, Shouldn’t you know this? The low level of radio personality leadership in this country is alarming.

The College of Psychologists of Ontario isn’t a government bureaucracy. Shouldn’t you know this? My goodness the low levels of leadership we have in both major national parties is beyond disappointing. Please try dealing in facts, for the love of the country.

Another government bureaucracy threatens to ban a Canadian from practicing his profession because he expressed political opinions the state doesn’t like. Now they force him to undergo a political “reeducation.” Bring home free speech for Jordan Peterson and everyone else.

@DavidStaplesYEG @dstaples Apparently there is a pretty large bureaucratic dick measuring contest always going on between parks Canada and the provincial arm

Who is to blame for Jasper wildfire? Well, who built a resort town in the middle of the boreal forest, where fire is essential? Who enjoyed it for more than 100 years and supported fire fighting to keep it safe from a major fire since 1889? Are we all to blame? Or none of us?

@JasonGregor There are some tree species that only reproduce using fire. For a guy who loves to research things maybe you should delve a little deeper

@JasonGregor Fires are a natural forest cycle. Too many years of small fires being put out quickly causes long term underbrush build up resulting in cycles of more frequent forest fires. No one talks about this enough. Mother Nature doesn’t care that we built towns and cities close to forests

@durantjay37 @barstoolsports You are correct obviously I never paid much attention to the canucks back then although our rendition is a slightly different take. Also congratulations on potentially being older then me, quite the achievement 😉

@rcarb18 @barstoolsports That’s cute. Almost guarantee you I’m older and yes it does ring a bell now you mention also you’re correct, rarely appearances happened between the 99 & Messier era. But the Canucks have done it going to Colorado 2001. But yes I doubt you’re older my man. Nice try.

@durantjay37 @barstoolsports Edmonton started it in 2006 with their old anthem singer Paul Laurier and has done it ever since, granted there was a rather large gap between playoff appearances so I don’t expect you to remember that
