Safety in medicine administration is vital. Labels must be clear and legible without magnification to prevent errors, especially for those with reading difficulties. Prompt action is essential for clarity. These are life size photos. What is the medicine with the blue label

@DrLKVaughan Agree and also how interesting for you as a clinician to see all these rare cases and be able to help your patients.

Every recent on-call has seen a pt with a rare presentation/diagnosis being admitted under my care. Like fine-print or NEVER heard of that rare. So rare can't mention the diseases cos that would identify the pts. A few reflections on knowledge, cognition and the doctoring.🧵 1/

📣♾️📣 2 deaths last weekend in London were from pills confirmed as #nitazenes & similar to pills tested by The Loop. They looked like oxys BUT it is not known what they were bought as. Take care whatever pills you take. Carry #naloxone, check in on friends & test if you can.

Defib pad placement is important. Positioning them correctly can double someone’s chance of survival. Side A is correct. The key difference is that the pad on the left hand side of the chest has been placed on the side of the rib cage, closer to the armpit.
