the deal netted Dallas Mikko Rantanen, so there won’t be much second-guessing, and understandably so. But man, from an on-ice and off-ice perspective, there wouldn’t be a single player on the Stars that would have been easier for fans to root for.

The way the Hurricanes are playing, they can have as much as 9 days rest before the next series. Just a complete failure by the NHL to have them start their series 4 days before ours….

@VinDeStefano1 @rcraig723 @magiligor The opposite is true. Bettman can fix seeding internally. Scheduling requires input from ESPN and TNT, which will never agree to risk weekend games.

There’s a lot of people doubting the Flyers in this series. I think Flyers are being underestimated big time. No Tippett is a kick in the dick for them game 1. Let’s see how Canes handle the time off in between games. Here we go. Round 2 begins.
