@jjodx I think it would be valuable to add a supplementary section where you recreate the raw dataset from your estimated underlying distributions. Fun exercise/could be a good sanity check for yourself.

There is a popular idea: 'forget all other stats, just use t-tests' and I sympathize! BUT
I'd like to alter it to 'just use mixed effects models!'

@ChelseaParlett Well, in practice they are both, because people typically have no clue how to quantify a prior. Prediction: priors do not only differ wildly between people, but also differ wildly if you ask the same person to quantify them multiple times after they forgot what they did before.
