@chriscarleton That is not how it should work. You should refuse to do warranty work unless the manf. will compensate you, or if the owner is willing to pay. I know it's hard. If you sell bikes with that equipment, maybe a disclaimer about warranty work? It shouldn't fall on you, mr. SBO.

People often wonder why running a bike shop is so hard; the number one reason is we are constantly expected to do work without getting paid. Another massive recall where manufacturer passes the "fix" on to the retailer without compensation from them (or the customer).

@obobME I sometimes wonder how the soundtrack is selected at Hannaford. It's not your typical grocery shopping music and I'm here for it. :)

@DavidPomerantz @drvolts But what will it look like if utility wins? Just look at Kentucky where companies and politics have cost the state to lose out on a decade of renewable energy investment. Now, Kentucky ranks dead last among states for wind and solar production. bit.ly/40qwd5J

You might have noticed Charlotte has not been active on social media. Charlotte was diagnosed with a rare type of brain tumour in Dec. In the past 2 weeks she has had two operations & spent 5 days in intensive care. She will make a full recovery in time but it’s a long road ahead

@obobME Wow. My car is getting a new transmission under warranty thankfully. They have had it since December 9th. In the meantime, I'm putting salty miles on a brand new Explorer...

@obobME my mother is a CB fan. I once surprised her with tickets to a New Years Eve show in Chicago. The second half of the surprise was that my dad and sisters were in on it and they were sitting at the table when the host sat us dinner. My mother had no idea they were there. Great show
