@hanke What do you think of Rimworlds damage model? Still uses DPS underneath IIRC, but it's got a more diverse damage system other than "it's alive" - "it's dead".

Vulnerabilities just result in cooler stories.

I really dislike DPS in games. The captain of the Bismarck never stood there and wondered about the DPS of the Rodney. No: A small biplane dropped a torpedo, which locked the Bismarck's rudder at 12°, which rendered her unmanoeuvrable, and her sinking after a depressing night.

Forgot to set the correct email again in a git repo? Use direnv to set GIT_AUTHOR_EMAIL and GIT_AUTHOR_NAME in the parent folder, and have it propagate to newly cloned repos.
