Furries will ALWAYS blame the minors, never the predators, who they allow to stay in the fandom, often because they're afraid of being sued or something like that.
That and they just hate kids in general, all while they often have no kids of their own.

Make all furry conventions +18 or +21 at this point. I can't fathom why minors are allowed (with parental/guardian consent) at big US cons. You can't deny the adult nature of cons and the fandom.

i find it really sad that "learned helplessness" gets used colloquially to mean the same thing as "weaponized incompetence" or any other sort of nasty/willful laziness. a lot of abuse victims and people with PTSD end up like this, and i think people should be more sympathetic :(
