Last night, I used Claude to run a deep analysis on my mechanical and discretionary trading systems based on time zones. It confirmed exactly what I have always known anecdotally: The Asian session is the worst time to trade my strategies. This applies across both FX and Crypto (sans an small window for AUD/USD) If you have a proven edge and make consistent money during the Asian session, respect to you. Know that you are playing on hard mode For my systems, peak performance happens during the London Open, specifically the London/New York crossover (10 PM – 3 AM my time) Why does the Asian session underperform? 1⃣Low Liquidity: Volume drops, leading to wider spreads and stagnation. 2⃣No Catalyst Data: Highly impactful macroeconomic data rarely drops in this window. 3⃣Predatory Market Making: Low volume makes it easier for market makers to hunt stops. Data beats emotion every time. If you havent done so already, back test what time zone produces the best results for your own system, what does it show ?

@SalsaTekila Same but the unlock for me is actually the mindset I have when using it, which is to not to seek perfection and be comfy with iterating. I treat each big project as an experiment with no fear of needing to start again if needed. Cost of errors are basically zero.

When I build stuff with Claude, 5% of the work is the idea, 5% is writing the prompt, and 90% is reading and answering questions, because I always ask: "Ask me questions until you are 100% sure what I want, do not make guesses." Am I doing it right?

@Tom__Capital Appreciate the thoughts. Pretty surprised that given the fiscal recklessness that the govt is showing, the AUD has been on a tear. Lmao. All the best.

price action, a monthly close above 0.7650, so ideally I would like my weighted average closer to that zone whilst AUD is rallying, downside validation would be monthly close below 0.6950 My broad thinking is AUD is either gonna remain in something like a 63/73 type range and we are currently at the top of that range, or its a 70/80 new range, and we are towards bottom of new range

$AUDUSD The Australian Dollar has broken its 14-year downtrend. Speculative longs are sitting at 10-year highs. The RBA is the most hawkish major central bank on the planet, still delivering rate hikes, with ~35bp still priced into the curve. AUDUSD is printing fresh yearly highs. So how exactly are you supposed to be bearish? First, all of the above is 100% true, and it’s already fully reflected in price. I don’t approach longer-dated macro trades with a simple “bullish or bearish” mindset. I’m actively building a short AUDUSD position precisely because markets are forward-looking. Yes, higher-timeframe price structure is clearly in an uptrend right now. But just like none of these bullish factors were “obvious” when AUD ripped from the 0.65 lows (a move I completely missed on the long side), the narrative will flip the moment the trend turns. What’s required is a shift in structure, momentum, volatility, and positioning. Price will eventually fail where it “shouldn’t.” The signs will be subtle at first. By the time they’re obvious to everyone, you won’t want to short AUD… because it’ll already be 500+ pips lower and I will be taking profits I’ve already laid out my full macro case for being short AUD. Now I’m simply waiting for the tape to align. In the meantime, I’ll keep scaling into the position with tight risk management. Markets don’t reward the obvious. They reward the patient. PS the above applies to any asset, index etc

Someone crimed TST up with longs open on HL and was hoping the perp delisting would realize their PNL instead of needing exit liquidity to sell into. The validators responded by NOT delisting TST. These TST longs are now stuck paying 800% funding to keep their position open.

was chatting with a pretty smart guy today. i knew he traded perps a fair amount on crypto, equities, fx, fi, etc and i asked what leverage he usually uses. i expected to hear 2-5x lvg. he said 100x... he says when things get intense he has to add margin and it nets to 25x...

NGL @nativemarkets is now my fav on/off ramp Off-ramped $USDH straight to IBKR for the first time. 12:33PM UTC: Send $USDH to address on HyperEVM 2:03PM UTC: Received USD in IBKR All in all it took sub-10 minutes to set up. Once done with set-up it was just one transaction to off-ramp. Crazy

There are rumours of a hole at a large CEX If >50% of people withdraw, the exchange blows up and everyone who didn’t withdraw gets rekt There is a possibly undercollateralized stablecoin. If >50% of people redeem, the coin goes to 0 and the holders get rekt Do(did) you
