As a mother, I think what we actually need are - 15 minute cities so that you and your child don't have to suffer being stuck in traffic - Better roads so that pregnant women can travel safely - Clean parks and walking spaces. Active people = better reproductive health 1/

@artbyahbuna In Indian industry we do not have any ability to work remotely. People don't join scheduled calls, they ignore messages as they feel like until escalation is the only solution to get a response. All this has to be reworked

What's stopping is the vicious desire to make people curse their lives by making them drive on bad roads, keep them stuck in traffic jams forever, by neither escalating metro work nor improving tier 2 cities.

Another book where same pattern is repeated. Really don't know why Kindle version is so overpriced. It should be closer to the cheapest hardcover.

I love buying and reading books and am strictly against piracy (never pirated a book except when I needed it for reference from a small part of it and it isn’t easily available). As an academic, I use lots of books both professionally and outside of my profession. But, seeing these academic publishers like Springer, Routledge, Birkhauser etc.. exorbitantly overprice many of their books, even those books which would interest a wide audience, makes me strongly want to reconsider my anti-piracy policy. See this recently released book here which I was planning to buy after release - it costs 25k bucks for a freaking kindle edition that involves no printing of any kind (I no longer intend to buy it now). I understand that universities and libraries can pay more and these publishers want to make more money and hence overcharge (ignoring the lay audience). If that is the case, follow like what the airlines do. Release a cheap economy class version (for purchase by lone individuals only) and a super expensive business class version (for purchase by libraries and universities only) that has color pictures, some supplementary material, and what not. Atleast make the kindle edition cheaper nah??
