We are honored to have celebrated Reading Corps Day with all the incredible people who make our work possible. From our AmeriCorps colleagues, to our educational partners, tutors, and the students who inspire us with every tutoring session, this day is for you!

Happy Reading Corps Day to our students! Since our start in 2003, over 22,000 tutors have helped nearly half a million students build foundational reading skills! We are so grateful for our partners around the country and can’t wait to see how many more we can support!

Thanks to the hard work and generosity of our tutors and partners, Reading Corps has grown exponentially. We started in 2003, supporting 170 students. Today, our tutors served over 40,000 students, more than the capacity of Target Field! We are so grateful for your commitment!

When Reading Corps first began in 2003, 24 tutors took the AmeriCorps pledge. Now in our 20th year, that number has grown to over 2,000! Your commitment to serving your community's students does not go unnoticed. Thank you for your service this year and for many more to come!

We’re one of a handful of orgs & school districts chosen by @Accelerate_US to join the 2024 cohort of Call to Effective Action grantees. This grant will help us make our tutoring model easier for schools to implement & help us grow our research. Congrats to all the grantees!
