@securecheckio Again, this isn't so much a Solana protocol (as in backend protocol) as it is an application level (maybe even wallet app) issue
My vision is that one day we do not think of Solana the same way we don't think about HTTPS

I'm suggesting that we need a security guard between initiate / sign transaction and sign / transaction lands

Good day for Solana. @bw_solana's SIMD-0525 just merged: slot time will go from 400ms down to 200ms, staged in four 50ms steps, each behind a feature gate. What this means: - Confirmation and finalisation will happen twice as fast at the end of the rollout 🥳 - Blockhash expiry stays 151 slots, but at 200ms that's ~30s of wall-clock time (vs ~60s) - Per-slot compute, write, and account limits get scaled down with slot time - Vote costs go up by ~1 SOL/day per validator at 200ms

@readylayerone There's nothing uniformly in place to drop malicious transactions by default. I'm not familiar with a baseline of protection for all Solana users
