@HaylBecks i’ve been muting a ton, just so it doesn’t pop up on my TL or feed, when i just wanna be left with the real fans, who actually like the team, the players and root for them to win. But still come across the negative and hateful accts/people, it sucks

@realDMD3 I’ve been doing the mass blocking since 2024. It’s so toxic but if you block those people mostly left with decent, level headed Mets fans. Unfortunately twitter boosts negative and so these people one up each other. It’s annoying.

@MetsSouthFla fanbase has become so toxic, people bitch and complain everyday, every game, every pitch, every out. It’s like people forgot how long a baseball season is, and how no team plays great or no player plays great, for all 162 and all 6 months

The hate that Lindor gets from this fan base is wild. He had an awful day yesterday, but folks blame him for everything. He can never make the right move. He doesn’t get along with Soto, should be traded, that’s today’s talk. It’s wild. We are 6 games in & a lot of the fan base & talking heads are already insufferable. Ask yourself why Tucker & Diaz choose the Dodgers. They don’t get scrutinized for breathing in LA. I mean Bo & Semien are already getting crushed, it’s ridiculous. We rarely got these type of players under the Wilpons, how easy everyone forgets! 🙃🙃🙃
