Card counting is not against the rules. This post is just so so wrong. Here’s why: 1. Yes they know card counters. They know all their players. Nothing new here. 2. There is no law (Nevada is my basis) against counting cards as long as it is in your head only. Using mechanical or electronic means is a felony. 3. Casinos ask a counter to stop playing when their play takes the house advantage away. They will often phase it like “sir your play is too strong for us. We ask you no long play blackjack here, feel free to play any other game.” They’ll even give them a free comp hoping they stay and play a different game.

Casinos keep a log of card counters, this man identified himself when he entered the casino, he sits down at a blackjack table he’s playing two hands against the dealer and one other player and a shoe full of decks of cards (typically 6-8) the casino can and often changes shoes at random and as frequently as they want. So why do they call “card counting” against the rules ? Isn’t keeping track of the game what you’re supposed to do ? Should everyone be blindfolded to play blackjack ? A typical casino has dozens of games that collect massive amounts of revenue.
