Today, I paid a condolence visit to my dear brother, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, following the passing of his beloved mother. I prayed that Almighty God grants her eternal rest and comforts him, his family, and all who mourn her. I also visited the family of my departed elder brother, the highly revered Reverend Dr William Okoye, whose passing is a great loss to our nation and to humanity. Rev. Okoye lived a life of faith, sacrifice, and unwavering service to God and humanity. His legacy will continue to inspire generations. Thereafter, I paid a visit to a dear brother, Mr Isaac Fayose, who was also recently bereaved, to express my heartfelt sympathies and solidarity. An Open Letter on Leadership, Loyalty, and Compassion
Dear Mr. Peter Obi @PeterObi,
I write this letter with deep disappointment over your apparent silence following the passing of the mother of Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, a man who stood firmly with you and worked tirelessly and Champion your campaign alongside many others during the 2023 elections.
Politics is built on relationships, trust, and shared sacrifice. Beyond campaigns and elections, humanity should always come first. A simple condolence message or public expression of sympathy would have demonstrated empathy, respect, and appreciation for someone who dedicated his time, energy, and reputation to a cause you both championed and he champion for you in Lagos.
Many supporters who witnessed the commitment and sacrifices made by Mr. @GRVlagos expected that, in his moment of grief, he would receive words of comfort from those he stood beside. Silence in such moments can easily be interpreted as indifference, whether that was the intention or not.
Leadership is measured not only by speeches, policies, and political victories but also by compassion and the ability to stand with people during their most difficult times. Genuine friendships and political alliances should extend beyond election seasons or political indifferences.
It is my hope that this omission, if indeed it was one, will be corrected. Expressing sympathy costs little, yet it means so much to those who are mourning. It also reassures supporters that loyalty and human connection remain important values.
May we all be reminded that political relationships should be strengthened by empathy, gratitude, and mutual respect.

On a flight to Abuja, and it was announced that all power banks should be UNPLUGGED from the phones and all phones switched off not put on aeroplane mode but switched off, and this lady utterly refused to follow the instructions only for me to turn to her and told her firmly "I will just call NCAA officers to throw you out of this flight, if you won't obey simple instructions that will not last up to 5 minutes".....
I didn't know why she had to obey me immediately and the flight attendant muttered a "thank you sir"
