President Trump is reportedly planning a massive handout to two Brazilian billionaires at the expense of American ranchers. Meet the Batista brothers. They own JBS, the largest meatpacking company in the world. Their rise was fueled by rampant corruption, bribery, and fraud. And they directly brokered Trump’s new plan to lower tariffs on imported beef in a vain attempt to lower the cost of beef. Make no mistake: This plan would not actually lower prices for consumers. It would drive even more American ranchers out of the market, directly reward the Batista brothers’ criminal enterprise, and further consolidate the beef industry. AI can produce amazing statistical analysis when given read-only database access - and draw interesting distinctions that would otherwise never be found. I think there should be an initiative to get as much public health information into a set of centralized databases and have AI generate hypothesis & gather information from them in real time with a data pipeline. We should have a DB of all trials known to man & have it easily available for AI analysis. This DB should just automatically ingest new data as it becomes available. The amount of hypothesis & pattern detection AI would be able to perform would be insane. I bet we could find cures for diseases & identify causes to ailments previously unknown from this alone. In medicine all the fields and specialties are separated. With AI we can combine them and find all the missing links between each other.
