Genuine question for you guys.
How do you handle a situation like this. You support other streamers all the time but they never step foot in yours. I understand life gets busy and they don’t owe me anything but..it’s the principle of things right? Do I continue supporting or no?

Many of us women start being sexualized at extremely young ages. We have to absorb the sexual advances of men who could be our fathers, uncles, brothers. We get followed walking home from elementary, jr high & highschool by whistling men in cars. Hearing their vulgar & predatory advances, having to run in the door quickly and lock it behind you for fear they're coming in after you. The experiences are endless as a little girl. For us girls who experience childhood trauma, we lose our childhood in those moments. We lose our sense of self, of safety, become hyper vigilant out of fear and survival. These feelings never leave us.

Actually, Out of ten men, one makes a sexual joke at a woman, two laugh, three fake a chuckle to fit in, and four stay silent. None of them speak up. Later, nine of them still believe they're the "good guys." But from the woman's perspective, the laughter, the silence, the looking away, it all creates the same environment. So when women say"most men are the same," this is what they mean: not that every man harasses women, but that most men help protect the system that does.

I have a close friend who was filmed giving "consent" while roofied before the act by the guy and despite her having no memory of this and the video clearly showing her drugged, so many people refused to believe her side and took his.
So many considered that him filming her giving "consent" still makes it ok.
