@TomTugendhat @trussliz Rule of Law out of the window. Have a word with Suella will you. Since the advent of Boris you have tried to emasculate judges and lawyers, sow mistrust in every institution of this country. To my mind your party has destroyed the UK.

Lord Frost has written a terrific column in the Telegraph in defence of the most beleaguered tribe in Britain – the motorist. He says we must not let green central planners take away our right to drive. dailysceptic.org/2022/07/29/we-…

@gasman_g @OliHayhurst @AndrewSelous I was quite disturbed as how secretive the industry is about the failure rates of CO alarms. If it is extremely low then there is no reason to be secretive.

@ThomHoops Capt. Hindsight has no policies, like most opposition politicians all he does is cricticise. There has never been a labour govt that has not ruined the country. As Mrs Thatcher famously said, "The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money."

Why can’t the government afford pay rises for public sector workers that keep pace with inflation? It may have something to do with the amount they shell out to £1,000-a-day consultants from companies like PwC, who funnily enough ARE getting 9% rises! Full story in new Eye.

My 11 year old son get £7.50 a week pocket money. I tax and NI him and he also has to save 20% each week so he's left with about 4 quid. He hates the tax man already and he's now starting to hate the government. May as well start them early.

@MichaelAbberton You have to distinguish between oil and gas producers and suppliers . Octopus energy make very little profit 25 million in 2021 and if you distributed that equally among households that would be £8.00 per customer

#ifyoucanyoucanteach last night was frustrating trying to teach Boyle’s and Charles law to a group of students, they couldn’t or didn’t see the necessity for it but it’s scientific principles of the plumbing industry, it’s not all about bending pipes @juhearn1 @Jonathon_Hallam

Setting up a UK database of chemical companies, duplicating the EU database will cost the industry £2bn. This is on top of the £42.5bn Brexit divorce bill. It seems there is a magic money tree when it comes to Brexit.
