Update from the bleeding edge of the void. She is not well. My best friend...thirty-nine years old, no prior warning, no history, just the sudden betrayal of her own heart...is still under the knives because the surgeons cannot make the bleeding around that heart fucking stop. They have transfused more than twenty units of blood and the wound keeps opening like some relentless, indifferent mouth. The body refuses to cooperate with the repair. The outcome remains a live blade pressed to the throat of everything that matters. I am probably boarding a flight to Florida within the next twenty-four hours unless the next update changes the math. I will be at her side while this war rages. I have already buried too many friends. This one lives in the marrow of me; losing her would be a different order of amputation. Let me be crystalline: I am not in the mood to be trifled with. Not by anyone. Not now. Stay in your fucking lane or shut the fuck up. The venom is coiled tight and the patience is gone. I will write when I can, or when the pressure demands I vent it into words. Otherwise expect radio silence. The only thing holding the line right now is the knowledge that the page still listens without flinching. This is the price of loving fiercely in a world that does not negotiate. I am paying it in full. With lethal clarity and zero tolerance for any bullshit... Grey. @TJandCasper 👍🏻 Thats really bad. Anyone near the tank didn't have a chance. One of gasses created by the caustic, hydrogen sulfide, in that quantity would be instant. H2S makes paper mills smell. The liquid and muddy residue is worse. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Sounds like a storage tank did blow. But it’s somewhere up in the state of Washington. There are fatalities,numbers unknown at least 10 others injured and transported. From what I got out of the report it happened at a paper mill

@CynicalPublius A writer is someone who can build a narrative with the same depth, precision and intent as an engineer or architect building a structure. AI is an obvious author, verbose with misdirected emotion. There's a discernible pattern lacking the flow a writer produces, in my opinion.

The eagerness of some people to label excellent writing as "AI slop" angers me. Just because someone has a better vocabulary than you and is highly skilled at creating vivid imagery where words resonate at a visceral level does NOT mean it was authored by AI. If you want to accuse an author of cheating via AI, you damned well better bring receipts. There are many AI detectors out there. USE THEM. Otherwise you just come off as jealous because someone is a better writer than you are.

Smile. Laugh. It’s ok for others to do that too. Remember the fallen. Honor the fallen. You don’t have to suffer alone. Break bread with others. Share your favorite memories of them today with friends and family.

I met Clarence thru my friends Vince Meadows and Mike Kemp before the war began. Mike was in the same platoon as Cash on the same Bradley fighting vehicle. Mike recieved the BSM with V and his TC recieved the Silver Star Medal in the action at Medina Ridge where SPC Cash was killed as part of the advanced guard, 3rd ID as part of the Phantom Brigade. 🇺🇸😔

There’s no “science to it. The vaccine was administered by dipping a double needle into the solution and jabbing it several times in a little circle. The area blistered over and scarred.

Im a little surprised they aren't using glycol and geothermal cooling, something thats low maintenance. More cost up front, lower long term. Propylene glycol is non-toxic and spills dont have to be reported per Fed law-states vary. There has to be an additive to the coolant to prevent corrosion, can't be 100% water. Well its a bad idea and will have high maintenance costs, it can be done.

My best friend just died 45m ago. Her husband just called to let me know. Finally looking at being done with knee surgeries and getting her life back. Gets a brain bleed and dies.
