Various native American tribes had their own languages before the English colonials. Spanish was spoken in America decades before English.

@alaska_godosiyo It's is. I learned about it in School 50 years ago. Even then I wondered how these nomadic people who knew so much more than "white people" about living off the land died in such large numbers. Much greater than settlors moving West. I began to question what was true.
