@spinelessaisha NixOS (probably also achievable with nix the package manager) is the only distro where installing matlab was straightforward and worked with no issues at all. I respect it for that

@skyl3r77 brave is open source, if you want a clone of brave origin just write it yourself. Otherwise pay 60 dollars for the theme change and feature strip. They even made this version free for linux. I see nothing to complain about. If you pay for this it's so obviously just a donation.

@TheMrBlueGuy @andres_vidoza Sure, but there's quite a list of distros I personally choose before ubuntu. I have some dotfiles for it as some workplaces only has ubuntu as their linux option but generally I'd just pick anything archbased or nix if given the opportunity.

Programmers are bad at naming things:
WASM - not for web, not assembly
EGL - not embedded, not a graphics library
DLSS - not supersampling
Microsoft - extremely bloated
Emacs - takes more than 8 megs (swill swapping tho)
vim - doesn't improve vi
neovim - is actually old
