@realprophetguy To me I have in mind this may take years so I'm getting to be ok with chilling on it. Except I just have my eyes on the lookout if there are any signs of "re-emerging" or a "comeback". Then everyone should come out to push that back. Outside of that it's a waiting game.

It's been kind of a hard month, no? I think sometimes the hardest thing in the world is lack of resolution. Hurt people are still hurting. The bad guy is out there still badding, and his script is being voiced by people who we so hoped would pursue truth. There no answers yet, but still so many unknowns. It was so much easier at the beginning, wasn't it? We got to follow a path marked out for us, in some ways, by the people before us—people like Ernie Gruen, the Fearless Five, and Jennifer Roach when she stood up to Tebutt, and Gracia. People who spoke truth and stood for justice. Every voice made the path clearer for the next—an then WE came along, and linked arms, and every step we took togethe was meaningful because it wideneid the path in a way that made room for MULTITUDES. We got really, really far. It was beautiful. But now, we're out here in unfamiliar territory. Exhausted. And there is no map. I see the path behind us, and the mountain in front of us, I think, "Nobody's ever gotten this far before. Where do we go next?" I don't know. But I know I want to keep moving forward. And I know I want to do it together. I think the only thing that makes sense to me right now is to keep linking arms—keep widening the path for others. I think I really hope that if there's enough of us crying out together, and we have just a little faith, the mountain might be forced to move from here to there. I hope. I guess I'm holding on to three things now, where I started with one. I had love—I think more now, with the folks I've met. I think I might have some faith. And I have a little bit of hope. Those seem like good things to hang on to for now.

What’s so harmful about the Prophetic History? One aspect is the “new breed” language from Branham/Cain, and how that pairs with dominionist theology. There’s an expectation that this generation will “rule and reign” with Christ here on earth and actually be responsible for dispensing the judgement of God on entire nations. This “new breed” of overcomers will essentially become immortal and unkillable—literally able to walk through walls and fly, invulnerable to bullets—and will “rule the nations with a rod of iron” alongside Jesus in the end times. The new breed is superior in wisdom and power to anything that previously walked before it on the earth, including Jesus, who was the first. Paul Cain taught this, Bickle taught this, Stuart Greaves taught this. I heard it with my own ears. Bethel currently teaches it. Yes, it’s wildly improbable. But the true darkness in this belief, from my perspective, is that from my observation it leads to people becoming massively narcissistic, bordering on psychopathic. Believing this about oneself emboldens you to commit deep, deep harm and believe that it’s a “righteous judgement.” This kind of thinking—that you’ve got supernatural, superior wisdom and abilities to everyone else on the planet— leads to the kind of profound arrogance that fueled the wild, harmful mishandling of Micah Moore in the Deaton case, Gracia’s rape, and SO MANY others. IMO, it’s what undergirds the mindset of the board and ELT. This is what enables them to think they can do no wrong in the handling of this situation now. It’s why they ignore victims, outside experts, their own former friends. They believe they’re THE MOST qualified. It’s also why the “apostolic leadership” in the wider body ignores all outside wisdom as well as the cries of those “under them.” They alone are fit to judge.

This is exactly right: there was an aura of mystique and legend surrounding these men, and that’s what gave the PH its power—it felt otherworldly. But had we seen the men behind the curtain back when we were 19, we would’ve been far less impressed. Because we didn’t, the prophetic history was bolstered along by the trust we had in the myriad of people we knew and trusted who had bought in. That’s why it’s so important to demystify it now— we need trusted voices to loudly, boldly, clearly decry what they publicly supported. We CANNOT allow this to wreak havoc on another generation.

So John was a forerunner for the 1st coming of Jesus and some people can say they are forerunners for the 2nd coming.
