I have recently seen some harmful rhetoric surrounding discussions I am centred in. I want to express my concerns surrounding it. This is not to take away from my previous apology. I want to separate the conversations so as not to mud the waters of genuine critique of my actions

I think this sounds normal and that people should be allowed to criticize colleagues on this stuff. Just because theyre friends doesnt mean theyre saved from those friends being validly upset.

not to really defend it, I think he jumped to conclusions extremely fast, but his pinned Twitter post says "human-made art" from July last year. He's allowed to be upset about being a part of it because he didn't know how far the air usage went and was a small part of bannerfall

Owen set the record straight, and I see a lotttt of people taking jabs at Avid. Can we try to remember this guy is a music artist, believes storytelling in Minecraft is an art form, is a coder/programmer himself, and has in the last year STRONGLY spoken about GenAI being harmful

Something important to remember in the conversation about lifting up marginalised gender creators is to not centre men's voices. Yes they should be speaking up but their words come secondary to the people /actually/ affected.

this & dare I say tfScott has a history of staying and seeing things through BECAUSE Pyro left tegrith. To him it probably feels like another one of those where Scott's going to have to 'pick up the slack' again, and Scott sees things to the end, he doesn't just get up and leave.

I WILL SAY! As insecure or defensive as TF!Scott can be… from a logical standpoint, he was 100% justified in his rejection of pyro. If we really listened to their conversation Pyro’s argument was full of maybes. The Academy, while shady, IS the ONLY real certainty they have. /1
