I must admit, I wasn’t overly moved by Diomande today. Maybe it was just me and happy to be proven wrong. Thought he was miles better in that first game. That said, it so hard to criticise a 19 year old making his WC debut. But if he’s being valued at €120m you almost have to? The standard he is being held to now is top of the top. And anything below it, which is normal for a young player, is deemed not good enough. One game doesn’t put me off. Looking forward to seeing him next game non the less.
